The Aims of This Course

This is a great course for senior and intermediate level PAs. It provides excellent tips and fundamental strategies for adding value to your role while increasing productivity. This engaging 1-day course focuses on 4 areas that collectively enable PAs to update their skills with the latest strategies and PA best practice. This course helps PAs understand the necessity for a fundamental shift in the way PAs approach their role and responsibilities.

The module on working productively with management shows PAs how to use their time with their manager more effectively, and how to take charge of aspects of their manager's role. This course also updates PAs on the latest time-saving email management and diary management techniques. 

The modern PA has to think on her feet and outside the box, and as such, the module on planning executive travel provides a good opportunity to learn how to surprise your boss with well thought out and intuitive business travel planning ideas. This course will also teach PAs how to significantly improve their performance appraisal scores and improve them sufficiently to move their job role to the next level.

This course is delivered at the client's premises over 1 day or *2 half-days (*for clients in England and Wales).

WHY YOU SHOULD ATTEND

Commitment to continuous professional development is the responsibility of every PA. As the role of the modern PA changes and evolves, PAs are compelled to develop their managerial-level skills in order to provide first class personal assistance to their boss. PAs are important members of the management team, and as such, they are expected to continually increase productivity and add value in their working partnerships. To accomplish this PAs need the kind of ideas and work-smart techniques that can only be gained through regular first-class PA training. 

Training is an investment, not an expense. It is maintenance for PAs. A significant number of senior executives attribute as much as 40% of their productivity to their PA; therefore, PAs need maintenance and upgrades even more than machines do.  Attending this course will also provide an opportunity for PAs to discover how other PAs in their organisation approach common problems.

Personal Assistants, Executive Assistants, Secretaries, Administrators, Office Managers.

EXPERIENCE LEVEL

This course is taught at an intermediate-advanced level, so it's ideal for all PAs, EAs, Admins and secretaries.

TOTAL PRICE: £2,400 per course (inclusive)

INCLUDED IN THE PRICE: The taught course, a course workbook, a certificate of achievement, PA mentoring for 3 months, applicable taxes.

NOT INCLUDED IN THE PRICE: Stationery, audio visual equipment,  meeting room, refreshments, lunch, travel expenses for travel outside England & Wales.

PA MENTORING SUPPORT

Delegates will be entitled to PA mentoring support on an Ask-a-Question basis for 3 months after the course.

PRE-COURSE QUESTIONNAIRE

Each trainee is required to complete a pre-course questionnaire that assesses their needs and expectations.
