Marguerita King FAPA BSc DipPA is our Consultant Mentor and owner of Personal-Assistant-Tips.com. She is a psychology graduate, a Fellow of the Association of Personal Assistants (APA) and a 'APA recommended' Consultant Mentor. Marguerita has over 25 years PA/secretarial experience in a number of industries. She started her career as a Junior secretary, and has worked in senior PA roles working for Directors and senior managers in prestigious companies in the private sector and public sector. Her PA experience, interest in psychology and experience of ecommerce has provided a good knowledge base with which to mentor candidates.

I specialise in and run “Tailored” workshops on “Personal Safety Awareness” and Self-Defence with the prime objective being AVOIDANCE through AWARENESS, although I do show you a few “funky moves” which you can use that require no special technique and definitely no excessive strength, that ANY PERSON can use if they should find themselves trapped. They also address an important social issue in a fun and interactive way, whilst creating and promoting team spirit and morale building.

Full day workshops include 6 x one hour workshops throughout the day covering different subjects and include two “High Impact-High Adrenaline” Strike classes. The “high adrenaline” workshop is very different as it safely teaches you how to use “High Impact Strike Moves” against pads that will disable any would be assailant. One hour, two hour and half hour workshops are also available.
